Relaxing Week Away

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house, which we booked at the last minute. So happy this property was available! Russ and Jennifer were responsive to our questions, helpful with local information as this was our first time to the area and accommodating as they provided fishing rods and tackle. We rented one of their pontoons and spent the week enjoying boating and fishing. The relaxing week is just what our family needed. We hope to return again!

Wonderful House and Owners

This is a very nice house in a pretty wooded setting and inside has a woodsy theme with cute bears everywhere. The furniture is very comfortable including the beds. There was plenty of space for 7-8 people to spread out. There are tons of games including a bean toss outside and darts and board games inside. There is an upper deck and out back a patio with a really nice gas grill and firepit. There is a dock that leads to a small inlet which was nice for kayaking. We also rented a pontoon with the house and were given a GPS and fish finder to use. The Chippewa Flowage is a huge lake with tons of little islands. We pulled up to an island with a sandy beach and spent part of the day. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. There was a brand new fridge with a little door for grabbing drinks which was very nice. A washer and dryer are also provided. The owners were very responsive to any questions or issues. All in all we had a wonderful time and this is a wonderful place to stay.

Great location on the flowage as was so easy to dock boat and not windy. Great home and absolutely spotless. Great fish cleaning facilities but had a rough week of fishing. Very hospitable owners. Thanks

Repeat stay

Hello All! We had so much fun staying the first time, we decided to rent again. It was really easy to stay with kids, 3 TVs with cable and sufficient WiFi. Love the circle drive for easy access with our boat. Very easy to enter/exit house, hot shower, big basement, new appliances, huge first aid kit on wall, plenty of towels, nice big dining table, quiet neighborhood with a lot of deer, and warm inside the house. Jennifer is wonderful to work with! Will be staying again 🙂

Winter Covid Holiday Break

Great break to end 2020 - 3 days between Xmas & NY. Accommodations were perfect, very nice cabin decor. Very responsive & helpful property manager. Short walk to dock/launch on Chippewa Flowage - ice fishing, snowshoeing, x-country ski.

Awesome place!!

The owners of this place have a keen eye for detail and what is useful for renters. Everything was clean and organized. They even have a helpful binder. It is close to snowmobile trails and it's on the flowage.

Fabulous, lovely cabin

Can’t say enough about the cabin, the decor, cleanliness, well stocked cookware, appliances and dishes, etc. Beautiful location, Chippewa Flowage access for boating and snowmobiling! Stocked with fun board games, fire pit, amenities galore. Ready to go back!

Great Place, Exceeded Expectations!

Perfect property, everything we needed was there. The cabin is turn key, just bring your food and you are all set. Host was great, had a awesome weekend away. Will be finding a time to book this place again.

Great place for a getaway!

The property was well-kept and exactly as advertised. It was also exceptionally clean, which you could smell that when you walked in. Jennifer quickly answered all of my questions and everything was exactly as we expected. It was the perfect place for our weekend UTV trip

Excellent place to stay

This home was awesome. The cleanliness of the property was unbelievable. We thought the place was brand new based on how clean it was. Jen was very easy to work with and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Week long Fishing Trip

We had 9 people in the house. Mostly father and sons (14 year olds). The house and facilities were better than the pictures show. Very well thought out and the house has anything you'll need. The bedrooms are large. In two of the rooms we setup an air mattress so a couple of the boys had their own beds. The fish/boat house was very helpful and clean. We had 4 boats at the 2 docks. It's a no wake bay so your boat won't get beat up by waves. Communication was fast and clear. Highly recommended.

Excellent week

We booked this property for a family vacation and had not been to this area before. The home was amazing. One of the cleanest VRBO homes we have stayed in. Space was great for family. Had a electronic dart board in the basement. Direct TV if you need that sort of thing. Kitchen was large and spacious. Table accommodated our party of 8 easily. Short walk to go get ice cream at local resort. Stunning lake with minimal developed shorelines and multiple islands with sandy shores. They have 2 boat docks in the protected channel off one of the bays. It does not have a beach which is no problem because they have a pontoon boat which I would recommend renting for the week for your family. We used it everyday despite having our own boat which we launched at a nearby resort to get access to the lake and used for fishing in the early mornings and evenings. We Packed a lunch in the cooler cruised the lake, and pulled up onto the sandy shores of different islands everyday and had lunch, fished, and swam. You can stop at local resorts along the way if your thirsty or prefer to order up lunch. Property is fantastic. Fire pit, fish cleaning house, deck, quiet, clean, relaxing. Russ and Jennifer are approachable and available if something is needed. Hayward is a short drive away. I would recommend this house over any resort around.

Family Week

Accommodations are great! Plenty of room for 6 adults & 2 kids. Appreciate the cleanliness & all the amenities….grills, canoes, fire pit, games, nearby boat launch. We will book again!

Our family had a great time at his property! The house was very clean and updated. Easily enough room for the 7 of us. The pontoon was perfect for fishing in Moore's Bay. Would recommend this home!!

Everything you need

The property owner's were awesome and very helpful. Had everything we needed in the cabin and enjoyed a couple of fires in their beautiful new fire pit. Beautiful and quiet setting and would recommend this place to any group including families!!

Cute Cabin!

Great weekend on the flowage. Came to icefish but ended up snowmobiling. We loved the wood burning fire place and easy access to the lake. Already planning another trip this winter!

Cozy Clean Cabin!

Cabin was very nice! Really close to get on lake for ice fishing and snowmobiling. Will stay here again.

Chippewa Flowage Fun!

What a great cabin for snowmobiling! Pop right onto the trail on the Flowage and off you go! The house was super clean and had everything we needed for our group. Check in was easy and the owner let us check out a little later since she didn’t have anyone coming in. We have stayed in MANY cabins and this one had tons of room and so very clean! Games, puzzles, children's books, washer and dryer, well equipped kitchen! Pretty darn awesome! …Thanks for letting us stay!

Close to snowmobile trails and restaurant down the road to eat at. Very clean with comfortable beds. Would stay again.

Great place!
We loved everything about this place! It was super clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location. The boat rental was great and we highly recommend it. The fish house was perfect for all fishing needs and cleaning. We also loved the fire pit area outside. We vacation often in northern Wisconsin and this place has been our favorite so far! We highly recommend and would be back in a heartbeat. Jen & Russ definitely pay close attention to detail and want you to have a great vacation while you’re there.
